Since 1990, film productions promoting socially responsible and eco-friendly, i.e. sustainable tourism have been awarded with the TOURA D'OR trophy. On some occasions, "special awards" and " commendations" were given.
Since 1992 and as part of the TOURA D'OR, a "Special Award in Education" of the Conference of Regional Film Services has been awarded for films with a particularly interesting, convincing and/or new educational approach. On some occasions, films were also acknowledged with "commendations".
