Selection committee and jury

The selection committee meets every year after the entry deadline (September, 30th). It looks at all the film contributions received, checks whether the conditions of participation and the contest criteria have been fulfilled and makes a preliminary short-listing of the films, which qualify for the final round.
In a second step, the contributions selected by the selection committee for the final round are forwarded to the Jury of representatives of support organisations and further experts. After in-depth scrutiny of the films and a detailed discussion, the Jury selects normally one award winner per category and awards one contribution with the Special "Pedagogy" Award of the Conference of Regional Film Services.
